Details for a rule in an WAF web ACL.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Struct { .. }
syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..
; and struct update syntax will not work.action: Option<WafAction>
Specifies the action that CloudFront or WAF takes when a web request matches the conditions in the rule.
excluded_rules: Option<Vec<WafExcludedRule>>
Rules to exclude from a rule group.
override_action: Option<WafOverrideAction>
Use the OverrideAction
to test your RuleGroup
.
Any rule in a RuleGroup
can potentially block a request. If you set the OverrideAction
to None
, the RuleGroup
blocks a request if any individual rule in the RuleGroup
matches the request and is configured to block that request.
However, if you first want to test the RuleGroup
, set the OverrideAction
to Count
. The RuleGroup
then overrides any block action specified by individual rules contained within the group. Instead of blocking matching requests, those requests are counted.
ActivatedRule
|OverrideAction
applies only when updating or adding a RuleGroup
to a web ACL. In this case you don't use ActivatedRule
Action
. For all other update requests, ActivatedRule
Action
is used instead of ActivatedRule
OverrideAction
.
priority: Option<i32>
Specifies the order in which the rules in a web ACL are evaluated. Rules with a lower value for Priority
are evaluated before rules with a higher value. The value must be a unique integer. If you add multiple rules to a web ACL, the values don't need to be consecutive.
rule_id: Option<String>
The identifier for a rule.
type: Option<String>
The rule type.
Valid values: REGULAR
| RATE_BASED
| GROUP
The default is REGULAR
.

Sourcepub fn action(&self) -> Option<&WafAction>
pub fn action(&self) -> Option<&WafAction>
Specifies the action that CloudFront or WAF takes when a web request matches the conditions in the rule.
Sourcepub fn excluded_rules(&self) -> &[WafExcludedRule]
pub fn excluded_rules(&self) -> &[WafExcludedRule]
Rules to exclude from a rule group.
If no value was sent for this field, a default will be set. If you want to determine if no value was sent, use .excluded_rules.is_none()
.

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self
with the foreground set to
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red()
and
green()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.fg(Color::White);
Set foreground color to white using white()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.white();

, which have the same functionality but
are pithier.
§Example
Set background color to red using fg()

fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute

.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold()
and
underline()
, which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr()

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask()
and
wrap()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);
Enable wrapping using wrap()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.wrap();
Source§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting()
due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.
fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
resetting()
due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition
value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted
only when both stdout
and stderr
are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
