Struct aws_sdk_rds::client::fluent_builders::RebootDBInstance
source · [−]pub struct RebootDBInstance { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Fluent builder constructing a request to RebootDBInstance.
You might need to reboot your DB instance, usually for maintenance reasons. For example, if you make certain modifications, or if you change the DB parameter group associated with the DB instance, you must reboot the instance for the changes to take effect.
Rebooting a DB instance restarts the database engine service. Rebooting a DB instance results in a momentary outage, during which the DB instance status is set to rebooting.
For more information about rebooting, see Rebooting a DB Instance in the Amazon RDS User Guide.
This command doesn't apply to RDS Custom.
Implementations
sourceimpl RebootDBInstance
impl RebootDBInstance
sourcepub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<RebootDbInstanceOutput, SdkError<RebootDBInstanceError>>
pub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<RebootDbInstanceOutput, SdkError<RebootDBInstanceError>>
Sends the request and returns the response.
If an error occurs, an SdkError will be returned with additional details that
can be matched against.
By default, any retryable failures will be retried twice. Retry behavior is configurable with the RetryConfig, which can be set when configuring the client.
sourcepub fn db_instance_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn db_instance_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The DB instance identifier. This parameter is stored as a lowercase string.
Constraints:
-
Must match the identifier of an existing DBInstance.
sourcepub fn set_db_instance_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_db_instance_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The DB instance identifier. This parameter is stored as a lowercase string.
Constraints:
-
Must match the identifier of an existing DBInstance.
sourcepub fn force_failover(self, input: bool) -> Self
pub fn force_failover(self, input: bool) -> Self
A value that indicates whether the reboot is conducted through a Multi-AZ failover.
Constraint: You can't enable force failover if the instance isn't configured for Multi-AZ.
sourcepub fn set_force_failover(self, input: Option<bool>) -> Self
pub fn set_force_failover(self, input: Option<bool>) -> Self
A value that indicates whether the reboot is conducted through a Multi-AZ failover.
Constraint: You can't enable force failover if the instance isn't configured for Multi-AZ.
