Struct aws_sdk_rds::client::fluent_builders::DeleteDBCluster
source · [−]pub struct DeleteDBCluster { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Fluent builder constructing a request to DeleteDBCluster.
The DeleteDBCluster action deletes a previously provisioned DB cluster. When you delete a DB cluster, all automated backups for that DB cluster are deleted and can't be recovered. Manual DB cluster snapshots of the specified DB cluster are not deleted.
For more information on Amazon Aurora, see What is Amazon Aurora? in the Amazon Aurora User Guide.
For more information on Multi-AZ DB clusters, see Multi-AZ deployments with two readable standby DB instances in the Amazon RDS User Guide.
The Multi-AZ DB clusters feature is in preview and is subject to change.
Implementations
sourceimpl DeleteDBCluster
impl DeleteDBCluster
sourcepub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<DeleteDbClusterOutput, SdkError<DeleteDBClusterError>>
pub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<DeleteDbClusterOutput, SdkError<DeleteDBClusterError>>
Sends the request and returns the response.
If an error occurs, an SdkError will be returned with additional details that
can be matched against.
By default, any retryable failures will be retried twice. Retry behavior is configurable with the RetryConfig, which can be set when configuring the client.
sourcepub fn db_cluster_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn db_cluster_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The DB cluster identifier for the DB cluster to be deleted. This parameter isn't case-sensitive.
Constraints:
-
Must match an existing DBClusterIdentifier.
sourcepub fn set_db_cluster_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_db_cluster_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The DB cluster identifier for the DB cluster to be deleted. This parameter isn't case-sensitive.
Constraints:
-
Must match an existing DBClusterIdentifier.
sourcepub fn skip_final_snapshot(self, input: bool) -> Self
pub fn skip_final_snapshot(self, input: bool) -> Self
A value that indicates whether to skip the creation of a final DB cluster snapshot before the DB cluster is deleted. If skip is specified, no DB cluster snapshot is created. If skip isn't specified, a DB cluster snapshot is created before the DB cluster is deleted. By default, skip isn't specified, and the DB cluster snapshot is created. By default, this parameter is disabled.
You must specify a FinalDBSnapshotIdentifier parameter if SkipFinalSnapshot is disabled.
sourcepub fn set_skip_final_snapshot(self, input: Option<bool>) -> Self
pub fn set_skip_final_snapshot(self, input: Option<bool>) -> Self
You must specify a FinalDBSnapshotIdentifier parameter if SkipFinalSnapshot is disabled.
sourcepub fn final_db_snapshot_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn final_db_snapshot_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The DB cluster snapshot identifier of the new DB cluster snapshot created when SkipFinalSnapshot is disabled.
Specifying this parameter and also skipping the creation of a final DB cluster snapshot with the SkipFinalShapshot parameter results in an error.
Constraints:
-
Must be 1 to 255 letters, numbers, or hyphens.
-
First character must be a letter
-
Can't end with a hyphen or contain two consecutive hyphens
sourcepub fn set_final_db_snapshot_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_final_db_snapshot_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
