A compute node group associated with a cluster.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Struct { .. }
syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..
; and struct update syntax will not work.name: String
The name that identifies the compute node group.
id: String
The generated unique ID of the compute node group.
arn: String
The unique Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the compute node group.
cluster_id: String
The ID of the cluster of the compute node group.
created_at: DateTime
The date and time the resource was created.
modified_at: DateTime
The date and time the resource was modified.
status: ComputeNodeGroupStatus
The provisioning status of the compute node group.
The provisioning status doesn't indicate the overall health of the compute node group.
The resource enters the SUSPENDING
and SUSPENDED
states when the scheduler is beyond end of life and we have suspended the cluster. When in these states, you can't use the cluster. The cluster controller is down and all compute instances are terminated. The resources still count toward your service quotas. You can delete a resource if its status is SUSPENDED
. For more information, see Frequently asked questions about Slurm versions in PCS in the PCS User Guide.
ami_id: Option<String>
The ID of the Amazon Machine Image (AMI) that PCS uses to launch instances. If not provided, PCS uses the AMI ID specified in the custom launch template.
subnet_ids: Vec<String>
The list of subnet IDs where instances are provisioned by the compute node group. The subnets must be in the same VPC as the cluster.
purchase_option: Option<PurchaseOption>
Specifies how EC2 instances are purchased on your behalf. PCS supports On-Demand Instances, Spot Instances, and Amazon EC2 Capacity Blocks for ML. For more information, see Amazon EC2 billing and purchasing options in the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud User Guide. For more information about PCS support for Capacity Blocks, see Using Amazon EC2 Capacity Blocks for ML with PCS in the PCS User Guide. If you don't provide this option, it defaults to On-Demand.
custom_launch_template: Option<CustomLaunchTemplate>
An Amazon EC2 launch template PCS uses to launch compute nodes.
iam_instance_profile_arn: String
The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the IAM instance profile used to pass an IAM role when launching EC2 instances. The role contained in your instance profile must have the pcs:RegisterComputeNodeGroupInstance
permission and the role name must start with AWSPCS
or must have the path /aws-pcs/
. For more information, see IAM instance profiles for PCS in the PCS User Guide.
scaling_configuration: Option<ScalingConfiguration>
Specifies the boundaries of the compute node group auto scaling.
instance_configs: Vec<InstanceConfig>
A list of EC2 instance configurations that PCS can provision in the compute node group.
spot_options: Option<SpotOptions>
Additional configuration when you specify SPOT
as the purchaseOption
for the CreateComputeNodeGroup
API action.
slurm_configuration: Option<ComputeNodeGroupSlurmConfiguration>
Additional options related to the Slurm scheduler.
error_info: Option<Vec<ErrorInfo>>
The list of errors that occurred during compute node group provisioning.

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self
with the foreground set to
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red()
and
green()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.fg(Color::White);
Set foreground color to white using white()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.white();

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like on_red()
and
on_green()
, which have the same functionality but
are pithier.
§Example
Set background color to red using fg()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.bg(Color::Red);
Set background color to red using on_red()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.on_red();

Source§fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold()
and
underline()
, which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Attribute};
painted.attr(Attribute::Bold);
Make text bold using using bold()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.bold();

Source§fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the yansi
Quirk
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask()
and
wrap()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);
Enable wrapping using wrap()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.wrap();
Source§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting()
due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.
fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
resetting()
due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition
value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted
only when both stdout
and stderr
are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
