pub struct AssociateNodeFluentBuilder { /* private fields */ }
Expand description
Fluent builder constructing a request to AssociateNode
.
Associates a new node with the server. For more information about how to disassociate a node, see DisassociateNode
.
On a Chef server: This command is an alternative to knife bootstrap
.
Example (Chef): aws opsworks-cm associate-node --server-name MyServer --node-name MyManagedNode --engine-attributes "Name=CHEF_ORGANIZATION,Value=default" "Name=CHEF_AUTOMATE_NODE_PUBLIC_KEY,Value=public-key-pem"
On a Puppet server, this command is an alternative to the puppet cert sign
command that signs a Puppet node CSR.
Example (Puppet): aws opsworks-cm associate-node --server-name MyServer --node-name MyManagedNode --engine-attributes "Name=PUPPET_NODE_CSR,Value=csr-pem"
A node can can only be associated with servers that are in a HEALTHY
state. Otherwise, an InvalidStateException
is thrown. A ResourceNotFoundException
is thrown when the server does not exist. A ValidationException
is raised when parameters of the request are not valid. The AssociateNode API call can be integrated into Auto Scaling configurations, CloudFormation templates, or the user data of a server's instance.
Implementations§
Source§impl AssociateNodeFluentBuilder
impl AssociateNodeFluentBuilder
Sourcepub fn as_input(&self) -> &AssociateNodeInputBuilder
pub fn as_input(&self) -> &AssociateNodeInputBuilder
Access the AssociateNode as a reference.
Sourcepub async fn send(
self,
) -> Result<AssociateNodeOutput, SdkError<AssociateNodeError, HttpResponse>>
pub async fn send( self, ) -> Result<AssociateNodeOutput, SdkError<AssociateNodeError, HttpResponse>>
Sends the request and returns the response.
If an error occurs, an SdkError
will be returned with additional details that
can be matched against.
By default, any retryable failures will be retried twice. Retry behavior is configurable with the RetryConfig, which can be set when configuring the client.
Sourcepub fn customize(
self,
) -> CustomizableOperation<AssociateNodeOutput, AssociateNodeError, Self>
pub fn customize( self, ) -> CustomizableOperation<AssociateNodeOutput, AssociateNodeError, Self>
Consumes this builder, creating a customizable operation that can be modified before being sent.
Sourcepub fn server_name(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn server_name(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The name of the server with which to associate the node.
Sourcepub fn set_server_name(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_server_name(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The name of the server with which to associate the node.
Sourcepub fn get_server_name(&self) -> &Option<String>
pub fn get_server_name(&self) -> &Option<String>
The name of the server with which to associate the node.
Sourcepub fn set_node_name(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_node_name(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The name of the node.
Sourcepub fn get_node_name(&self) -> &Option<String>
pub fn get_node_name(&self) -> &Option<String>
The name of the node.
Sourcepub fn engine_attributes(self, input: EngineAttribute) -> Self
pub fn engine_attributes(self, input: EngineAttribute) -> Self
Appends an item to EngineAttributes
.
To override the contents of this collection use set_engine_attributes
.
Engine attributes used for associating the node.
Attributes accepted in a AssociateNode request for Chef
-
CHEF_ORGANIZATION
: The Chef organization with which the node is associated. By default only one organization nameddefault
can exist. -
CHEF_AUTOMATE_NODE_PUBLIC_KEY
: A PEM-formatted public key. This key is required for thechef-client
agent to access the Chef API.
Attributes accepted in a AssociateNode request for Puppet
-
PUPPET_NODE_CSR
: A PEM-formatted certificate-signing request (CSR) that is created by the node.
Sourcepub fn set_engine_attributes(self, input: Option<Vec<EngineAttribute>>) -> Self
pub fn set_engine_attributes(self, input: Option<Vec<EngineAttribute>>) -> Self

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self
with the foreground set to
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red()
and
green()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.fg(Color::White);
Set foreground color to white using white()

use yansi::Paint;
painted.white();

fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute

.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold()
and
underline()
, which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr()

Enables the yansi
Quirk
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask()
and
wrap()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);
Enable wrapping using wrap()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.wrap();
Source§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting()
due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.
fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>

due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition
value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted
only when both stdout
and stderr
are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
