Expand description
Describes the cache settings of an Amazon Lightsail content delivery network (CDN) distribution.
These settings apply only to your distribution's cacheBehaviors
(including the defaultCacheBehavior
) that have a behavior
of cache
.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Struct { .. }
syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..
; and struct update syntax will not work.default_ttl: Option<i64>
The default amount of time that objects stay in the distribution's cache before the distribution forwards another request to the origin to determine whether the content has been updated.
The value specified applies only when the origin does not add HTTP headers such as Cache-Control max-age
, Cache-Control s-maxage
, and Expires
to objects.
minimum_ttl: Option<i64>
The minimum amount of time that objects stay in the distribution's cache before the distribution forwards another request to the origin to determine whether the object has been updated.
A value of 0
must be specified for minimumTTL
if the distribution is configured to forward all headers to the origin.
maximum_ttl: Option<i64>
The maximum amount of time that objects stay in the distribution's cache before the distribution forwards another request to the origin to determine whether the object has been updated.
The value specified applies only when the origin adds HTTP headers such as Cache-Control max-age
, Cache-Control s-maxage
, and Expires
to objects.
allowed_http_methods: Option<String>
The HTTP methods that are processed and forwarded to the distribution's origin.
You can specify the following options:
-
GET,HEAD
- The distribution forwards theGET
andHEAD
methods. -
GET,HEAD,OPTIONS
- The distribution forwards theGET
,HEAD
, andOPTIONS
methods. -
GET,HEAD,OPTIONS,PUT,PATCH,POST,DELETE
- The distribution forwards theGET
,HEAD
,OPTIONS
,PUT
,PATCH
,POST
, andDELETE
methods.
If you specify the third option, you might need to restrict access to your distribution's origin so users can't perform operations that you don't want them to. For example, you might not want users to have permission to delete objects from your origin.
cached_http_methods: Option<String>
The HTTP method responses that are cached by your distribution.
You can specify the following options:
-
GET,HEAD
- The distribution caches responses to theGET
andHEAD
methods. -
GET,HEAD,OPTIONS
- The distribution caches responses to theGET
,HEAD
, andOPTIONS
methods.
An object that describes the cookies that are forwarded to the origin. Your content is cached based on the cookies that are forwarded.
forwarded_headers: Option<HeaderObject>
An object that describes the headers that are forwarded to the origin. Your content is cached based on the headers that are forwarded.
forwarded_query_strings: Option<QueryStringObject>
An object that describes the query strings that are forwarded to the origin. Your content is cached based on the query strings that are forwarded.

Sourcepub fn allowed_http_methods(&self) -> Option<&str>
pub fn allowed_http_methods(&self) -> Option<&str>

, andOPTIONS
methods. -
GET,HEAD,OPTIONS,PUT,PATCH,POST,DELETE
- The distribution forwards theGET

methods.
If you specify the third option, you might need to restrict access to your distribution's origin so users can't perform operations that you don't want them to. For example, you might not want users to have permission to delete objects from your origin.
Sourcepub fn cached_http_methods(&self) -> Option<&str>
pub fn cached_http_methods(&self) -> Option<&str>
The HTTP method responses that are cached by your distribution.
You can specify the following options:
-
GET,HEAD
- The distribution caches responses to theGET
andHEAD
methods. -
GET,HEAD,OPTIONS
- The distribution caches responses to theGET
,HEAD
, andOPTIONS
methods.
An object that describes the cookies that are forwarded to the origin. Your content is cached based on the cookies that are forwarded.
Sourcepub fn forwarded_headers(&self) -> Option<&HeaderObject>
pub fn forwarded_headers(&self) -> Option<&HeaderObject>
An object that describes the headers that are forwarded to the origin. Your content is cached based on the headers that are forwarded.
Sourcepub fn forwarded_query_strings(&self) -> Option<&QueryStringObject>

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self
with the foreground set to
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red()
and
green()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.fg(Color::White);
Set foreground color to white using white()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.white();

.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like on_red()
and
on_green()
, which have the same functionality but
are pithier.
§Example
Set background color to red using fg()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.bg(Color::Red);
Set background color to red using on_red()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.on_red();

fn on_bright_white(&self) -> Painted<&T>
Source§fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold()
and
underline()
, which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Attribute};
painted.attr(Attribute::Bold);
Make text bold using using bold()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.bold();

fn rapid_blink(&self) -> Painted<&T>
Source§fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the yansi
Quirk
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask()
and
wrap()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);
Enable wrapping using wrap()
.
use yansi::Paint;
painted.wrap();
Source§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting()
due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.
fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
resetting()
due to conflicts with Vec::clear()
.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition
value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted
only when both stdout
and stderr
are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
