pub struct InvokeAsyncFluentBuilder { /* private fields */ }
Expand description
Fluent builder constructing a request to InvokeAsync
.
For asynchronous function invocation, use Invoke
.
Invokes a function asynchronously.
If you do use the InvokeAsync action, note that it doesn't support the use of X-Ray active tracing. Trace ID is not propagated to the function, even if X-Ray active tracing is turned on.
Implementations§
source§impl InvokeAsyncFluentBuilder
impl InvokeAsyncFluentBuilder
sourcepub fn as_input(&self) -> &InvokeAsyncInputBuilder
pub fn as_input(&self) -> &InvokeAsyncInputBuilder
Access the InvokeAsync as a reference.
sourcepub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<InvokeAsyncOutput, SdkError<InvokeAsyncError, HttpResponse>>
pub async fn send( self ) -> Result<InvokeAsyncOutput, SdkError<InvokeAsyncError, HttpResponse>>
Sends the request and returns the response.
If an error occurs, an SdkError
will be returned with additional details that
can be matched against.
By default, any retryable failures will be retried twice. Retry behavior is configurable with the RetryConfig, which can be set when configuring the client.
sourcepub fn customize(
self
) -> CustomizableOperation<InvokeAsyncOutput, InvokeAsyncError, Self>
pub fn customize( self ) -> CustomizableOperation<InvokeAsyncOutput, InvokeAsyncError, Self>
Consumes this builder, creating a customizable operation that can be modified before being sent.
sourcepub fn function_name(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn function_name(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The name or ARN of the Lambda function.
Name formats
-
Function name –
my-function
. -
Function ARN –
arn:aws:lambda:us-west-2:123456789012:function:my-function
. -
Partial ARN –
123456789012:function:my-function
.
The length constraint applies only to the full ARN. If you specify only the function name, it is limited to 64 characters in length.
sourcepub fn set_function_name(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_function_name(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The name or ARN of the Lambda function.
Name formats
-
Function name –
my-function
. -
Function ARN –
arn:aws:lambda:us-west-2:123456789012:function:my-function
. -
Partial ARN –
123456789012:function:my-function
.
The length constraint applies only to the full ARN. If you specify only the function name, it is limited to 64 characters in length.
sourcepub fn get_function_name(&self) -> &Option<String>
pub fn get_function_name(&self) -> &Option<String>
The name or ARN of the Lambda function.
Name formats
-
Function name –
my-function
. -
Function ARN –
arn:aws:lambda:us-west-2:123456789012:function:my-function

sourcepub fn invoke_args(self, input: ByteStream) -> Self
pub fn invoke_args(self, input: ByteStream) -> Self
The JSON that you want to provide to your Lambda function as input.
sourcepub fn set_invoke_args(self, input: Option<ByteStream>) -> Self
pub fn set_invoke_args(self, input: Option<ByteStream>) -> Self
The JSON that you want to provide to your Lambda function as input.
sourcepub fn get_invoke_args(&self) -> &Option<ByteStream>
pub fn get_invoke_args(&self) -> &Option<ByteStream>
The JSON that you want to provide to your Lambda function as input.
