Struct aws_sdk_iot::client::fluent_builders::DescribeEndpoint
source · [−]pub struct DescribeEndpoint { /* private fields */ }
Expand description
Fluent builder constructing a request to DescribeEndpoint
.
Returns a unique endpoint specific to the Amazon Web Services account making the call.
Requires permission to access the DescribeEndpoint action.
Implementations
sourceimpl DescribeEndpoint
impl DescribeEndpoint
sourcepub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<DescribeEndpointOutput, SdkError<DescribeEndpointError>>
pub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<DescribeEndpointOutput, SdkError<DescribeEndpointError>>
Sends the request and returns the response.
If an error occurs, an SdkError
will be returned with additional details that
can be matched against.
By default, any retryable failures will be retried twice. Retry behavior is configurable with the RetryConfig, which can be set when configuring the client.
sourcepub fn endpoint_type(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn endpoint_type(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The endpoint type. Valid endpoint types include:
-
iot:Data
- Returns a VeriSign signed data endpoint.
-
iot:Data-ATS
- Returns an ATS signed data endpoint.
-
iot:CredentialProvider
- Returns an IoT credentials provider API endpoint.
-
iot:Jobs
- Returns an IoT device management Jobs API endpoint.
We strongly recommend that customers use the newer iot:Data-ATS
endpoint type to avoid issues related to the widespread distrust of Symantec certificate authorities.
sourcepub fn set_endpoint_type(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
