Describes how to interpret an application-defined timestamp value from an MQTT message payload and the precision of that value.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

value: Option<String>

An expression that returns a long epoch time value.

unit: Option<String>

The precision of the timestamp value that results from the expression described in value.

Valid values: SECONDS | MILLISECONDS | MICROSECONDS | NANOSECONDS. The default is MILLISECONDS.
