Expand description
Error type for the StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError
operation.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
InvalidArgumentException(InvalidArgumentException)
The specified input parameter has a value that is not valid.
InvalidKmsResourceException(InvalidKmsResourceException)
Firehose throws this exception when an attempt to put records or to start or stop delivery stream encryption fails. This happens when the KMS service throws one of the following exception types: AccessDeniedException
, InvalidStateException
, DisabledException
, or NotFoundException
.
LimitExceededException(LimitExceededException)
You have already reached the limit for a requested resource.
ResourceInUseException(ResourceInUseException)
The resource is already in use and not available for this operation.
ResourceNotFoundException(ResourceNotFoundException)
The specified resource could not be found.
Unhandled(Unhandled)
Unhandled
directly is not forwards compatible. Instead, match using a variable wildcard pattern and check .code()
:
err if err.code() == Some("SpecificExceptionCode") => { /* handle the error */ }
See ProvideErrorMetadata
for what information is available for the error.An unexpected error occurred (e.g., invalid JSON returned by the service or an unknown error code).
Implementations§
source§impl StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError
impl StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError
sourcepub fn unhandled(err: impl Into<Box<dyn Error + Send + Sync + 'static>>) -> Self
pub fn unhandled(err: impl Into<Box<dyn Error + Send + Sync + 'static>>) -> Self
Creates the StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError::Unhandled
variant from any error type.
sourcepub fn generic(err: ErrorMetadata) -> Self
pub fn generic(err: ErrorMetadata) -> Self
Creates the StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError::Unhandled
variant from an ErrorMetadata
.
sourcepub fn meta(&self) -> &ErrorMetadata
pub fn meta(&self) -> &ErrorMetadata
Returns error metadata, which includes the error code, message, request ID, and potentially additional information.
sourcepub fn is_invalid_argument_exception(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_invalid_argument_exception(&self) -> bool
Returns true
if the error kind is StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError::InvalidArgumentException
.
sourcepub fn is_invalid_kms_resource_exception(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_invalid_kms_resource_exception(&self) -> bool
Returns true
if the error kind is StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError::InvalidKmsResourceException
.
sourcepub fn is_limit_exceeded_exception(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_limit_exceeded_exception(&self) -> bool
Returns true
if the error kind is StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError::LimitExceededException
.
sourcepub fn is_resource_in_use_exception(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_resource_in_use_exception(&self) -> bool
Returns true
if the error kind is StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError::ResourceInUseException
.
sourcepub fn is_resource_not_found_exception(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_resource_not_found_exception(&self) -> bool
Returns true
if the error kind is StartDeliveryStreamEncryptionError::ResourceNotFoundException
.
