Struct aws_sdk_docdb::client::fluent_builders::ModifyDBCluster
source · [−]pub struct ModifyDBCluster { /* private fields */ }
Expand description
Fluent builder constructing a request to ModifyDBCluster
.
Modifies a setting for an Amazon DocumentDB cluster. You can change one or more database configuration parameters by specifying these parameters and the new values in the request.
Implementations
sourceimpl ModifyDBCluster
impl ModifyDBCluster
sourcepub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<ModifyDbClusterOutput, SdkError<ModifyDBClusterError>>
pub async fn send(
self
) -> Result<ModifyDbClusterOutput, SdkError<ModifyDBClusterError>>
Sends the request and returns the response.
If an error occurs, an SdkError
will be returned with additional details that
can be matched against.
By default, any retryable failures will be retried twice. Retry behavior is configurable with the RetryConfig, which can be set when configuring the client.
sourcepub fn db_cluster_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn db_cluster_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The cluster identifier for the cluster that is being modified. This parameter is not case sensitive.
Constraints:
-
Must match the identifier of an existing
DBCluster
.
sourcepub fn set_db_cluster_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_db_cluster_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The cluster identifier for the cluster that is being modified. This parameter is not case sensitive.
Constraints:
-
Must match the identifier of an existing
DBCluster
.
sourcepub fn new_db_cluster_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn new_db_cluster_identifier(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The new cluster identifier for the cluster when renaming a cluster. This value is stored as a lowercase string.
Constraints:
-

-
The first character must be a letter.
-
Cannot end with a hyphen or contain two consecutive hyphens.
Example: my-cluster2
sourcepub fn set_new_db_cluster_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_new_db_cluster_identifier(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self

-
The first character must be a letter.
-
Cannot end with a hyphen or contain two consecutive hyphens.
Example: my-cluster2
sourcepub fn apply_immediately(self, input: bool) -> Self
pub fn apply_immediately(self, input: bool) -> Self
A value that specifies whether the changes in this request and any pending changes are asynchronously applied as soon as possible, regardless of the PreferredMaintenanceWindow
setting for the cluster. If this parameter is set to false
, changes to the cluster are applied during the next maintenance window.
The ApplyImmediately
parameter affects only the NewDBClusterIdentifier
and MasterUserPassword
values. If you set this parameter value to false
, the changes to the NewDBClusterIdentifier

values are applied during the next maintenance window. All other changes are applied immediately, regardless of the value of the ApplyImmediately
parameter.

setting for the cluster. If this parameter is set to false
, changes to the cluster are applied during the next maintenance window.
The ApplyImmediately
parameter affects only the NewDBClusterIdentifier
and MasterUserPassword
values. If you set this parameter value to false
, the changes to the NewDBClusterIdentifier
and MasterUserPassword
values are applied during the next maintenance window. All other changes are applied immediately, regardless of the value of the ApplyImmediately
parameter.
