Struct aws_sdk_directory::client::fluent_builders::CreateAlias
source · [−]pub struct CreateAlias { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Fluent builder constructing a request to CreateAlias.
Creates an alias for a directory and assigns the alias to the directory. The alias is used to construct the access URL for the directory, such as http://
.
After an alias has been created, it cannot be deleted or reused, so this operation should only be used when absolutely necessary.
Implementations
sourceimpl CreateAlias
impl CreateAlias
sourcepub async fn customize(
self
) -> Result<CustomizableOperation<CreateAlias, AwsResponseRetryClassifier>, SdkError<CreateAliasError>>
pub async fn customize(
self
) -> Result<CustomizableOperation<CreateAlias, AwsResponseRetryClassifier>, SdkError<CreateAliasError>>
Consume this builder, creating a customizable operation that can be modified before being sent. The operation’s inner http::Request can be modified as well.
sourcepub async fn send(self) -> Result<CreateAliasOutput, SdkError<CreateAliasError>>
pub async fn send(self) -> Result<CreateAliasOutput, SdkError<CreateAliasError>>
Sends the request and returns the response.
If an error occurs, an SdkError will be returned with additional details that
can be matched against.
By default, any retryable failures will be retried twice. Retry behavior is configurable with the RetryConfig, which can be set when configuring the client.
sourcepub fn directory_id(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn directory_id(self, input: impl Into<String>) -> Self
The identifier of the directory for which to create the alias.
sourcepub fn set_directory_id(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
pub fn set_directory_id(self, input: Option<String>) -> Self
The identifier of the directory for which to create the alias.
