Expand description
Used to specify a set of resources to a backup plan.
We recommend that you specify conditions, tags, or resources to include or exclude. Otherwise, Backup attempts to select all supported and opted-in storage resources, which could have unintended cost implications.
For more information, see Assigning resources programmatically.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Struct { .. }
syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..
; and struct update syntax will not work.selection_name: String
The display name of a resource selection document. Must contain 1 to 50 alphanumeric or '-_.' characters.
iam_role_arn: String
The ARN of the IAM role that Backup uses to authenticate when backing up the target resource; for example, arn:aws:iam::123456789012:role/S3Access
.
resources: Option<Vec<String>>
The Amazon Resource Names (ARNs) of the resources to assign to a backup plan. The maximum number of ARNs is 500 without wildcards, or 30 ARNs with wildcards.
If you need to assign many resources to a backup plan, consider a different resource selection strategy, such as assigning all resources of a resource type or refining your resource selection using tags.
If you specify multiple ARNs, the resources much match any of the ARNs (OR logic).
The conditions that you define to assign resources to your backup plans using tags. For example, "StringEquals": { "ConditionKey": "backup", "ConditionValue": "daily"}
.
ListOfTags
supports only StringEquals
. Condition operators are case sensitive.
If you specify multiple conditions, the resources much match any of the conditions (OR logic).
not_resources: Option<Vec<String>>
The Amazon Resource Names (ARNs) of the resources to exclude from a backup plan. The maximum number of ARNs is 500 without wildcards, or 30 ARNs with wildcards.
If you need to exclude many resources from a backup plan, consider a different resource selection strategy, such as assigning only one or a few resource types or refining your resource selection using tags.
conditions: Option<Conditions>
The conditions that you define to assign resources to your backup plans using tags. For example, "StringEquals": { "ConditionKey": "aws:ResourceTag/backup", "ConditionValue": "daily" }
.
Conditions
supports StringEquals
, StringLike
, StringNotEquals
, and StringNotLike
. Condition operators are case sensitive.
If you specify multiple conditions, the resources much match all conditions (AND logic).

.
Sourcepub fn resources(&self) -> &[String]
pub fn resources(&self) -> &[String]
If no value was sent for this field, a default will be set. If you want to determine if no value was sent, use .resources.is_none()
.
The conditions that you define to assign resources to your backup plans using tags. For example, "StringEquals": { "ConditionKey": "backup", "ConditionValue": "daily"}
.
ListOfTags
supports only StringEquals
. Condition operators are case sensitive.
If you specify multiple conditions, the resources much match any of the conditions (OR logic).
If no value was sent for this field, a default will be set. If you want to determine if no value was sent, use .list_of_tags.is_none()
.
Sourcepub fn not_resources(&self) -> &[String]
pub fn not_resources(&self) -> &[String]
If no value was sent for this field, a default will be set. If you want to determine if no value was sent, use .not_resources.is_none()
.
Sourcepub fn conditions(&self) -> Option<&Conditions>
pub fn conditions(&self) -> Option<&Conditions>
The conditions that you define to assign resources to your backup plans using tags. For example, "StringEquals": { "ConditionKey": "aws:ResourceTag/backup", "ConditionValue": "daily" }
.
Conditions
supports StringEquals
, StringLike
, StringNotEquals
, and StringNotLike
. Condition operators are case sensitive.
If you specify multiple conditions, the resources much match all conditions (AND logic).

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self
with the foreground set to
value
.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red()
and
green()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.fg(Color::White);

are pithier.
§Example
Set background color to red using fg()

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold()
and
underline()
, which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr()

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask()

wrap()
, which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk()
:
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);
Enable wrapping using wrap()
.
use yansi::Paint;

Source§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>

.
The clear()
method will be removed in a future release.Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition
value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted
only when both stdout
and stderr
are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
