Configuration for the compaction subsystem.

Controls summarizer prompts, model selection, and savings thresholds. Stored in AgentSpec.sections["compaction"] and read via PluginConfigKey.

Fields

summarizer_system_prompt: String

System prompt for the summarizer LLM call.

summarizer_user_prompt: String

User prompt template. {messages} is replaced with the conversation transcript.

summary_max_tokens: Option<u32>

Maximum tokens for the summary response.

summary_model: Option<String>

Model to use for summarization (if different from the agent’s model).

min_savings_ratio: f64

Minimum token savings ratio to accept a compaction (0.0-1.0).
