Interval a compaction summary covers, on the summary record.

Compaction never deletes or overwrites: it appends a summary message whose CompactionMark says which committed interval it stands in for. The raw messages in [from_seq, to_seq] stay in the log; the effective (resume / context) view folds them away via effective_messages.
