Signature algorithm used by a transparency log for checkpoint signing.

Each log in a TrustConfig specifies which algorithm its checkpoints use. The verifier dispatches on this when checking checkpoint signatures.

Usage:

Variants

Ed25519

Ed25519 (RFC 8032). Default for auths-native logs.

EcdsaP256

ECDSA with NIST P-256 and SHA-256. Used by Rekor production shard.
