SetupError

Enum SetupError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum SetupError { IdentityAlreadyExists { did: String, }, KeychainUnavailable { backend: String, reason: String, }, CryptoError(AgentError), WeakPassphrase { source_name: String, reason: String, }, StorageError(SdkStorageError), GitConfigError(GitConfigError), InvalidSetupConfig(String), RegistrationFailed(RegistrationError), PlatformVerificationFailed(String), }
Expand description

Errors from identity setup operations (developer, CI, agent).

Usage:

match sdk_result {
    Err(SetupError::IdentityAlreadyExists { did }) => { /* reuse or abort */ }
    Err(e) => return Err(e.into()),
    Ok(result) => { /* success */ }
}

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

IdentityAlreadyExists

An identity already exists at the configured path.

Fields

§did: String

The DID of the existing identity.

§

KeychainUnavailable

The platform keychain is unavailable or inaccessible.

Fields

§backend: String

The keychain backend name (e.g. “macOS Keychain”).

§reason: String

The reason the keychain is unavailable.

§

CryptoError(AgentError)

A cryptographic operation failed.

§

WeakPassphrase

The supplied passphrase fails the strength policy. Carries which input supplied it so the user knows exactly what to fix — vital in --non-interactive runs where there is no prompt fallback.

Fields

§source_name: String

The input that supplied the passphrase (e.g. “the AUTHS_PASSPHRASE environment variable”).

§reason: String

The policy violation, rendered for display.

§

StorageError(SdkStorageError)

A storage operation failed.

§

GitConfigError(GitConfigError)

Setting a git configuration key failed.

§

InvalidSetupConfig(String)

Setup configuration parameters are invalid.

§

RegistrationFailed(RegistrationError)

Remote registry registration failed.

§

PlatformVerificationFailed(String)

Platform identity verification failed.
