Struct aurum_actors::core::UdpSerial[][src]

pub struct UdpSerial { /* fields omitted */ }
Expand description

A fully serialized message, to be sent over UDP.

A message sent over the wire includes a Destination and a message. UdpSerial serializes both of them and places them in buffer delimited with packet headers. If a message is too large to fit in a single packets, it is split into multiple packets.

To send a UdpSerial, use Node::udp and Node::udp_select.

Implementations

The size of each packet sent of UDP, including the header.

The number of UDP packets that will be sent over the wire.

The total number of bytes that will be sent with this UdpSerial

The total length of the serialized message, excluding the headers.

Creates a UdpSerial by serializing a message and a Destination
