pub enum ExitReason {
Normal,
UpgradeRestart {
exe: PathBuf,
},
}Expand description
Why the event loop exited. Callers (currently just atomcode-tuix::run)
use this to decide whether to re-exec into the new binary after an
in-place upgrade or just terminate normally.
Variants§
Normal
Normal termination (user quit, Ctrl+C, etc.).
UpgradeRestart
/upgrade or /upgrade rollback succeeded; the live binary has been
replaced and the caller should re_exec_self to start the new version.
Carries the original exe path (e.g. atomcode.exe) captured
before replace_binary renamed the running binary. On Windows,
std::env::current_exe() returns the renamed path after the swap,
so callers MUST use this path for re_exec_self instead of
current_exe().
