Instance data for text glyph rendering.
Each instance represents one glyph to be drawn from the font atlas. Text is rendered as individual glyph instances for maximum flexibility.
§Coordinate System
Positions use a top-left origin coordinate system where (0, 0) is the top-left corner and Y increases downward, consistent with UI layout conventions.
Fields§
§position: [f32; 2]Position in screen space (top-left corner of glyph bounding box)
size: [f32; 2]Size of the glyph quad in screen space
atlas_uv_min: [f32; 2]Atlas UV coordinates (top-left)
atlas_uv_max: [f32; 2]Atlas UV coordinates (bottom-right)
color: [f32; 4]Color (RGBA)
z_depth: f32Depth value for z-ordering (0.0 = far, 1.0 = near)
_padding: [f32; 3]Padding to align to 16-byte boundary (64 bytes total)
