A unique identifier for an axis.

Supports both standard axes (X/Y primary/secondary) and unlimited custom axes. Custom axes can be created by ID or by name using hash-based ID generation.

Create an axis ID from a name using FNV-1a hash.

This allows referencing axes by name in a consistent way. The same name will always produce the same ID.
