Expand description

Rendering data for world Light and all Lights.

Fields§

§z: f32

Z Position of the Main Light Layer.

§world_color: Vec4

Color of the main light layer.

§enable_lights: bool

If the AreaLight and DirectionalLight are enabled.

§store_id: Index

Index of the Rendering Buffer.

§order: DrawOrder

DrawOrder of the world Lights.

§render_layer: u32

Rendering Layer of the world lights used in DrawOrder.

§area_lights: SlotMap<Index, AreaLight>

SlotMap storage of AreaLight’s.

§directional_lights: SlotMap<Index, DirectionalLight>

SlotMap storage of DirectionalLight’s.

§area_count: u32

Count of AreaLight’s.

§dir_count: u32

Count of DirectionalLight’s.

§changed: bool

If Main Light layer got updated we need to update the buffers too.

§directionals_changed: bool

If any DirectionalLight got updated we need to update the buffers too.

§areas_changed: bool

If any AreaLight got updated we need to update the buffers too.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Lights

Source

pub fn new(renderer: &mut GpuRenderer, render_layer: u32, z: f32) -> Self

Creates a new Lights.

Source

pub fn unload(&self, renderer: &mut GpuRenderer)

Source

pub fn create_quad(&mut self, renderer: &mut GpuRenderer)

Updates the Lights’s Buffers to prepare them for rendering.

Source

pub fn insert_area_light(&mut self, light: AreaLight) -> Option<Index>

Inserts a AreaLight into Lights. Returns the AreaLight’s Index.

Source

pub fn remove_area_light(&mut self, key: Index)

Removes a AreaLight by its Index.

Source

pub fn get_mut_area_light(&mut self, key: Index) -> Option<&mut AreaLight>

Gets a Optional mutable reference of a Indexed AreaLight.

Source

pub fn insert_directional_light( &mut self, light: DirectionalLight, ) -> Option<Index>

Inserts a DirectionalLight into Lights. Returns the DirectionalLight’s Index.

Source

pub fn remove_directional_light(&mut self, key: Index)

Removes a DirectionalLight by its Index.

Source

pub fn get_mut_directional_light( &mut self, key: Index, ) -> Option<&mut DirectionalLight>

Gets a Optional mutable reference of a Indexed DirectionalLight.

Source

pub fn update( &mut self, renderer: &mut GpuRenderer, areas: &mut Buffer, dirs: &mut Buffer, ) -> OrderedIndex

Used to check and update the vertex array. Returns a OrderedIndex used in Rendering.
