Snapshot postcard round-trip failures.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

SerializeFailed(String)

Postcard refused to encode the snapshot.

DeserializeFailed(String)

Postcard refused to decode the bytes.

Inconsistent(String)

The bytes decoded, but a structural invariant (e.g. scheduler index consistency) did not hold — the snapshot is corrupt or tampered.

IntegrityMismatch

The bytes’ BLAKE3 digest did not match the caller-supplied expected digest — the integrity/authenticity check failed.
