Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

EmptyMps

Input MPS had zero sites. Surfaced before the wrapper would invoke canonicalize, which asserts center < n and would otherwise panic.

LengthMismatch

MPO and MPS chain lengths disagreed.

Site count reported by the MPS.

mpo: usize

Site count reported by the MPO.

Env(DmrgEnvError)

DmrgEnvs::build failed (e.g. BlockSparse edge-bond validation).

Sweep(DmrgSweepError)

The underlying low-level sweep driver returned an error.
