GrantedNamespaces

Enum GrantedNamespaces

Source
pub enum GrantedNamespaces {
    All,
    Exact(BTreeSet<String>),
}
Expand description

The answer to “which namespaces may this principal verb?” (#324).

Deliberately not a plain set: “every namespace” and “these three” are different answers, and collapsing the first into a snapshot of the namespaces that happen to exist would go stale the moment a write mints a new one. A caller that wants a concrete list intersects Exact with the namespaces it cares about, and treats All as no filter at all.

Variants§

§

All

Every namespace, including ones not yet written.

§

Exact(BTreeSet<String>)

Exactly these. Empty = the verb is granted nowhere (fail closed).

Implementations§

Source§

impl GrantedNamespaces

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

True when the verb is granted nowhere at all.

Source

pub fn exact(&self) -> Option<&BTreeSet<String>>

The concrete names, or None for Self::All — which is not a list and must not be mistaken for one.
