pub struct RestoreSpec {
pub id: VmId,
pub nics: Vec<NicSpec>,
pub disks: Vec<DiskSpec>,
pub isolation: IsolationSpec,
}Expand description
What may change when a checkpoint is restored into a new VM.
Everything else — CPUs, memory, disks, devices — is fixed by the image.
Fields§
§id: VmIdThe restored VM’s identity.
nics: Vec<NicSpec>The NICs to attach, in the image’s bus order (a restored VM usually lands on fresh host attachments).
disks: Vec<DiskSpec>The disks the image references — the same ids — at their host paths for this restore: a restored VM’s rootfs is a fresh copy-on-write device, never the path recorded at checkpoint time.
isolation: IsolationSpecHow the restored VMM process is confined.
