Template name (no version suffix).

entry: TemplateEntry

The resolved entry: the exact version, or — for a bare name — the newest published version, falling back to the draft when nothing is published.

Canonical pinned reference: name:version@digest (name:@digest for drafts). Substituted into CreateSandboxRequest.template before the idempotent create key is computed, so a retried create after a Publish diverges instead of silently replaying the old content.
