pub enum ForkCodec {
StuffIt,
CompactPro {
lzh: bool,
},
}Expand description
Which decompressor a ForkInfo needs. StuffIt and Compact Pro share the
same entry/fork plumbing (the directory tree in StuffItEntry and every
output format in extract) but use entirely different fork codecs and
checksums, so the codec tag picks the right decompressor at extract time.
Variants§
StuffIt
StuffIt method lives in ForkInfo::method; checksum is the
CRC-16/ARC in ForkInfo::crc.
CompactPro
Compact Pro (super::compactpro): byte-level RLE, optionally preceded
by an LZH (LZSS + Huffman) layer. Compact Pro stores one CRC-32 per
file (in ForkInfo::crc32) over the resource fork followed by the
data fork, so it’s verified once per entry rather than per fork.
