A chain identifier for an Aptos network.

The chain ID is included in every transaction to ensure transactions cannot be replayed across different networks.

Known Chain IDs

• Mainnet: 1
• Testnet: 2
• Devnet: varies (typically 165)
• Local: 4 (default for local testing)
