Errors produced by the HTTP client.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Build

The HTTP client could not be constructed.

Fields

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

TlsCertificateAuthoritiesInvalid

tls.certificate_authorities could not be parsed as PEM.

Fields

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

TlsCertificateAuthoritiesEmpty

tls.certificate_authorities contained no PEM certificate blocks.

§

TlsNoTrustAnchors

TLS verification is enabled but no trust anchors are configured.

§

TlsClientCertificateChainInvalid

tls.client_authentication.certificate_chain could not be parsed as PEM.

Fields

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

TlsClientCertificateChainEmpty

tls.client_authentication.certificate_chain contained no certificates.

§

TlsClientKeyInvalid

tls.client_authentication.key could not be parsed as PEM.

Fields

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

TlsClientKeyMissing

tls.client_authentication.key contained no recognised private key block.

§

TlsClientKeyEncrypted

tls.client_authentication.key is encrypted. Encrypted keys are not supported.

§

TlsClientAuth

tls.client_authentication was rejected by rustls — typically because the private key is not usable as a TLS signer or does not match the leaf certificate’s public key.

Cert/key pair mismatches that pass the build but fail the handshake surface as Transport.

Fields

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

InvalidUri

The request URI could not be constructed from its components.

Fields

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

ConnectionTimeout

The connection timed out before being established.

§

Transport

A TCP or TLS transport error.

Fields

§source: BoxError

The underlying error.

§

Handshake

The HTTP/1.1 or HTTP/2 handshake failed.

Fields

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

Request

Sending or receiving the HTTP request failed.

Fields

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

ProxyTunnel

The proxy returned a non-200 response to a CONNECT request.

Fields

§status: StatusCode

The HTTP status code returned by the proxy.

§

InvalidConfig

The configuration failed validation.

apollo_configuration::parse_yaml runs validation before returning, so this only fires when the config reached HttpClient::new through a path that bypassed it.

Fields

§source: ValidationErrors

The collected validation errors.

§

InvalidUnixSocketPath

A unix:// URI’s authority could not be hex-decoded into a socket path.

Fields

§source: FromHexError

The underlying decoding error.

§

NonUtf8UnixSocketPath

A unix:// URI’s authority decoded to bytes that are not valid UTF-8.

Non-UTF-8 socket paths are not supported.

Fields

§source: FromUtf8Error

The underlying UTF-8 decoding error.

§

UnsupportedScheme

The request URI’s scheme is not supported on this platform.

Fields

§scheme: String

The scheme from the request URI.

Trait Implementations§

impl Debug for HttpClientError

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more
Source§

impl Diagnostic for HttpClientError

Source§

fn code(&self) -> Option<Box<dyn Display + '_>>
