A function’s effective access policy — the resolved form of FunctionManifest::permission, falling back to Visibility.

Deliberately not StableAbi: it is derived on the host from fields that are, so it can grow a variant without touching the wire contract.

Public

Anyone, authenticated or not.

Authenticated

Any authenticated principal.

Member

Any member of the caller’s active organisation.

Role(String)

A member holding this role in the active organisation.

Private

Not exposed over HTTP at all.

Parse the string grammar shared with a resource’s [permissions]. Returns None for anything unrecognised, so a caller can decide whether a typo is an error (at build time) or should close the door (at load).

The canonical string form, round-tripping FunctionAccess::parse.

pub fn is_public(&self) -> bool

Whether the endpoint is reachable without credentials.
