Which request headers get redacted before a trace event is built (RFC 040 Q1).

Variants§

§

Denylist

Redact headers named in TraceConfig::header_denylist; capture everything else. Fails open on an unanticipated header name — accepted deliberately, see RFC 040’s Risks table.

§

Allowlist

Capture only headers named in TraceConfig::header_allowlist; redact everything else. Fails closed.
