pub struct ChannelDescriptor {
pub kind: ChannelKind,
pub recipient_addressing: Value,
pub recipient_class: Option<RecipientClass>,
}Expand description
Delivery channel and its channel-shaped recipient addressing.
Fields§
§kind: ChannelKindChannel kind, drawn from the closed set (§7.1.5).
Typed rather than String: an unrecognized value is now a parse
failure, which is what §8.3 step 1 has always required and what the
independent TypeScript implementation already did.
recipient_addressing: ValueChannel-shaped opaque blob (opaque to APH core).
recipient_class: Option<RecipientClass>Who consumes what lands there (§7.1.5, RFC 0005). OPTIONAL, omitted when absent: absence means the producer makes no claim, and every envelope minted before the field existed stays byte-identical.
⚠ EMITTING THIS IS VERSION-GATED, same structural rule as
audience and act_classification: strict parse fails an unknown
field BELOW the error vocabulary, so a producer MUST NOT emit it
until it has reason to believe the recipient understands it (§10.1).
