n_sim: u32Simulations run.
empirical_fpr: f64Empirical edge rate (edges per possible directed lag-1 pair per sim, averaged).
se: f64Binomial SE under H0 rate = α (rough guide).
within_band: boolWhether |empirical_fpr − α| ≤ band_tol * se (or absolute floor).
band_tol: f64Tolerance multiplier used for within_band.
