MiddleMark

Enum MiddleMark

Source
pub enum MiddleMark {
    Unknown,
    Left,
    Right,
    Both,
    Empty,
}
Expand description

LPCMCI middle mark on an edge (Gerhardus & Runge 2020).

Intermediate search state; a converged PAG has only MiddleMark::Empty.

Variants§

§

Unknown

Unknown (?) — no adjacency claim yet.

§

Left

Left (L) — search among parents of the later/ordered endpoint exhausted.

§

Right

Right (R) — search among parents of the earlier/ordered endpoint exhausted.

§

Both

Both (!) — Left and Right both hold.

§

Empty

Empty (-) — definite adjacency in the MAG / final PAG.

Implementations§

Source§

impl MiddleMark

Source

pub const fn is_definite(self) -> bool

Whether this is a definite adjacency mark (empty middle).

Source

pub const fn apply(self, update: Self) -> Self

Merge an existing middle mark with an update (LPCMCI middle-mark update rule).
