Innate size/cost class of a model, set once per model in the catalog.

Orthogonal to the per-request Effort and to context_limit: a model’s weight class reflects roughly how large and costly it is to run, not how hard it is asked to think on a given turn. Variants are declared in ascending order so the derived Ord sorts Feather < Middle < Heavy.

Mid workhorse (Sonnet- / GPT-mini- / Gemini-Flash-class).

Largest, most capable, costliest (Opus- / GPT-5.x- / Gemini-Pro-class).
