pub enum PointerError {
WrongLength(usize),
UnknownFormatVersion(u8),
InvalidOwnerKey(String),
InvalidSignatureFormat(String),
SignatureInvalid,
SigningFailed(String),
CounterExhausted,
}Expand description
Why a pointer was refused.
Display is written by hand rather than derived, because this crate is a
wire contract and does not take a macro dependency for it — the same reason
crate::error::Error is hand-written.
Variants§
WrongLength(usize)
The encoding is not exactly POINTER_WIRE_LEN bytes.
UnknownFormatVersion(u8)
The format version is not one this build understands.
InvalidOwnerKey(String)
The owner key does not decode.
InvalidSignatureFormat(String)
The signature does not decode.
SignatureInvalid
The signature does not verify under the owner key in the record.
SigningFailed(String)
Signing failed.
CounterExhausted
The counter is at FINAL_COUNTER: the pointer is final and no
further state can replace it.
