Request to store or update a pointer.

record is the whole Pointer encoding. There is no separate address field: a pointer’s address is a pure function of the owner key inside the record, so a second copy could only ever disagree with it.

record: Bytes

The canonical pointer encoding.

payment_proof: Option<Vec<u8>>

Optional payment proof (serialized ProofOfPayment).

Quoted and paid against the record’s state_id, not its address: the address is stable for the pointer’s life, so paying against it would make every update after the first free.
