pub struct KBinsDiscretizer {
pub n_bins: usize,
pub strategy: BinStrategy,
pub encode: EncodeStrategy,
}Expand description
Parameters for KBinsDiscretizer (unfitted state).
Bins continuous features into discrete intervals. Two binning strategies are supported: uniform-width and quantile-based. Output can be ordinal (bin indices) or one-hot encoded.
Fields§
§n_bins: usizeNumber of bins per feature.
strategy: BinStrategyStrategy for computing bin edges.
encode: EncodeStrategyEncoding strategy for the output.
Implementations§
Source§impl KBinsDiscretizer
impl KBinsDiscretizer
Sourcepub fn new() -> KBinsDiscretizer
pub fn new() -> KBinsDiscretizer
Create a new KBinsDiscretizer with defaults (5 bins, quantile strategy, ordinal encoding).
Sourcepub fn n_bins(self, n_bins: usize) -> KBinsDiscretizer
pub fn n_bins(self, n_bins: usize) -> KBinsDiscretizer
Set the number of bins.
Sourcepub fn strategy(self, strategy: BinStrategy) -> KBinsDiscretizer
pub fn strategy(self, strategy: BinStrategy) -> KBinsDiscretizer
Set the binning strategy.
Sourcepub fn encode(self, encode: EncodeStrategy) -> KBinsDiscretizer
pub fn encode(self, encode: EncodeStrategy) -> KBinsDiscretizer
Set the encoding strategy.
