Variants

Bare

Only the raw hex hash, no filename, no trailing newline. Matches GoReleaser’s split-checksum output. Default.

Coreutils

<hash> <filename> with a trailing newline — the coreutils / BSD digest format, so the sidecar verifies directly with shasum -c / sha256sum -c from the directory holding the artifact.
