Variants§
Priority
First layer to claim a span wins. Simple and predictable.
LongestSpan
Longest span wins. Prefers “New York City” over “New York”. Equal length falls back to layer priority.
HighestConf
Highest confidence score wins.
Union
Keep all entities, even if they overlap. Useful when downstream processing handles disambiguation.
