pub struct BackgroundTaskInfo {
pub agent_name: String,
pub tool_name: Option<String>,
pub progress_message: Option<String>,
pub reported_usage: Usage,
pub stopped: bool,
}Expand description
Metadata tracked for a background task running inside a subagent session.
The session carries this as the application payload of the task’s
BackgroundHandle, stored behind a
Mutex because progress and stop callbacks mutate it over the
task’s lifetime.
Fields§
§agent_name: StringSubagent that owns the background task.
tool_name: Option<String>Tool name when the background task was started by a tool call.
progress_message: Option<String>Last progress message forwarded to the parent agent.
reported_usage: UsageCumulative usage already forwarded into the session, used to convert the cumulative usage carried by background agent outputs into deltas.
stopped: boolWhether this task belonged to a stopped session task and should no longer be forwarded.
