Expand description

A command killed by a clock — what happened, said with enough to tell “slow” from “stuck”, which is the whole reason there are two clocks.

Fields§

§why: Why§ran_secs: u64

How long it had been running.

§quiet_secs: Option<u64>

How long since its last output; None when the output was not ours to observe (inherited stdio).

§cpu: CpuVerdict

What its CPU was doing, as far as it was measured.

§idle_secs: u64

The silence budget it ran under, in seconds (0 = off). With quiet_secs it says whether CPU work is what kept a silent command alive past that budget.

§waiting: Option<(WaitKind, u64)>

The declared wait it was in at the kill, and for how long.

§last_line: Option<String>

Its last non-empty stderr line, colour stripped and clipped to LAST_LINE_CHARS: what decides a retry, and what the message may quote.

§load: Option<(Load, u32)>

The host’s load at the kill, with the factor it stretched the silence budget by, when it stretched it at all.
