BinaryContainer

Struct BinaryContainer

Source
pub struct BinaryContainer { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Container for binary-format records.

Used for PCB files where records are size-prefixed binary blocks.

Implementations§

Source§

impl BinaryContainer

Source

pub fn from_blocks(source: &str, blocks: &[Block]) -> Self

Creates a container from raw binary blocks.

Each block is expected to have object_id as the first byte.

Source

pub fn new(source: &str) -> Self

Creates an empty container.

Source

pub fn source(&self) -> &str

Returns the source stream path.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

Returns the number of records.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Returns true if there are no records.

Source

pub fn get(&self, index: usize) -> Option<&BinaryRecord>

Gets a record by index.

Source

pub fn get_mut(&mut self, index: usize) -> Option<&mut BinaryRecord>

Gets a mutable record by index.

Source

pub fn iter(&self) -> impl Iterator<Item = &BinaryRecord>

Iterates over all records.

Source

pub fn iter_mut(&mut self) -> impl Iterator<Item = &mut BinaryRecord>

Iterates mutably over all records.

Source

pub fn filter_by_type( &self, object_id: PcbObjectId, ) -> impl Iterator<Item = &BinaryRecord>

Filters records by object ID.

Source

pub fn is_modified(&self) -> bool

Returns true if any records were modified.

Source

pub fn push(&mut self, record: BinaryRecord)

Adds a record to the container.

Source

pub fn remove(&mut self, index: usize) -> Option<BinaryRecord>

Removes a record by index.

Source

pub fn to_binary(&self) -> Vec<Vec<u8>>

Converts all records back to binary data.
