A band of width pixels around every glyph, behind it, in a straight (not premultiplied), sRGB-encoded RGBA color.

The band is the glyph coverage dilated by a disc: each pixel takes the highest coverage within width of it, weighted down over the disc’s last pixel so the band’s edge is antialiased.

Radius of the band in pixels, in (0, 64].
