#[non_exhaustive]pub enum ReadbackFailure {
UnsupportedTarget,
Layout,
DuplicateMapRequest,
MapFailed,
CallbackDropped,
NotMapped,
DestinationTooSmall,
SubmissionMismatch,
}Expand description
Where a texture readback failed.
wgpu’s BufferAsyncError carries no cause, so Self::MapFailed only says mapping was
refused; device diagnostics (alpha2_gpu::GpuDiagnosticLog) may explain it. None of these
implies memory exhaustion.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
UnsupportedTarget
The rendered texture’s format or size is not one the readback packs.
Layout
A row, plane, or buffer size overflowed or could not be represented.
DuplicateMapRequest
Mapping was requested twice for one readback.
MapFailed
The GPU refused to map the staging buffer.
CallbackDropped
The mapping callback was dropped without reporting.
NotMapped
The staging buffer was read before its mapping succeeded.
DestinationTooSmall
A caller-supplied plane destination is too small for the frame.
SubmissionMismatch
The device was polled for a submission it did not recognise.
