pub enum PublishMethod {
RenameNoReplace,
PlaceholderRename,
RenameReplace,
}Expand description
How publish_no_replace or publish_replace moved a file into place.
Variants§
RenameNoReplace
One rename that refuses an existing target: renameat2(RENAME_NOREPLACE)
on Linux, renamex_np(RENAME_EXCL) on macOS, MoveFileExW without
MOVEFILE_REPLACE_EXISTING on Windows.
PlaceholderRename
The file system refused the no-replace flag, so an empty O_EXCL placeholder was created
at the target and renamed over.
RenameReplace
A rename that replaces whatever is at the target.
