Expand description

What one export needs from the shared software-codec worker budget.

Fields§

§decode_concurrency: usize

Decoder contexts the pool may run at once.

§hardware_decode: bool

Whether decode sessions produce device-resident frames.

§source_frame_pixels: u64

Luma samples in the largest video source, or zero when unknown.

§software_video_encoder: bool

Whether the video encoder draws on this budget.

§encoder_fixed_threads: Option<usize>

Workers a software encoder runs regardless of the offer, when the picture fixes them (OpenH264’s one thread per slice). The split reserves exactly that and gives decode the rest.
