Struct DecodeStageTimings

pub struct DecodeStageTimings {
    pub demux: Duration,

    pub receive_frame: Duration,
    pub convert: Duration,
    pub seek: Duration,
}
Expand description

Where one video decode session’s wall time went, split so hardware decode is told apart from mere submission.

Fields§

§demux: Duration

av_read_frame: container demux and file I/O.

§send_packet: Duration

avcodec_send_packet: handing a packet to the codec.

§receive_frame: Duration

avcodec_receive_frame: producing one picture. A hardware session waits here for FFmpeg’s synchronization, so this separates decode from submission.

§convert: Duration

Turning the picture into a host frame: pixel conversion (software) or surface metadata (hardware).

§seek: Duration

av_seek_frame and the codec flush that follows it.

Implementations§
