#[non_exhaustive]pub enum NativeVideoCodec {
H264,
Hevc,
Vp9,
Av1,
Mpeg4Part2,
}Expand description
Video codecs implemented by the native encode sinks.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
H264
H.264/AVC, preferred for broad browser, Windows, and Apple playback.
Hevc
H.265/HEVC.
Vp9
VP9, when the linked FFmpeg build provides a VP9 encoder.
Av1
AV1, when the linked FFmpeg build provides an AV1 encoder.
Mpeg4Part2
MPEG-4 Part 2, retained for compatibility with existing alpha2 hosts.
Implementations§
Source§impl NativeVideoCodec
impl NativeVideoCodec
Sourcepub const fn as_str(self) -> &'static str
pub const fn as_str(self) -> &'static str
Stable identifier suitable for an application protocol or settings file.
Sourcepub const fn model(self) -> VideoCodec
pub const fn model(self) -> VideoCodec
The engine’s codec this encoder family implements.
The rate mapping is keyed on alpha2_media::VideoCodec alone, so
there is one front door to it; this is the native side’s way in.
Sourcepub const fn from_model(codec: VideoCodec) -> Self
pub const fn from_model(codec: VideoCodec) -> Self
The native codec for the engine’s codec.
